Libraries in the Age of Google

Librarians from the Broken Arrow and Tahlequah (JVL) campuses met via videoconference this week to discuss the pros and cons of using social software as a professional communication tool. (That’s the JVL crew on the plasma screen.)

For those of you who remain unaware, Technical Services Director, Linda West, launched a JVL blog, Facebook, MySpace, and Xanga more than a year ago – and maintains them to this day. Go, Linda!

Things to look forward to in the future? A possible blog for the College of Education and one for the College of Liberals Arts.
