National Library Week, 2011!

Celebrate National Library Week (which began yesterday, April 10th,  and runs through Saturday, April 16th).  The Honorary Chair of this year’s event is John Grisham (author).  Mr. Grisham is widely recognized as a popular storyteller (most of his novels involve the lawyers and the legal system) and has written a total of 23 books (thus far) — there are over 250 million of his books in print throughout the world.  And, in addition to his adult bestsellers, John has recently completed his first book for younger readers: Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer.

This year’s theme: “Create your own story @ your library…”

Here’s the press release from the American Library Association.

Here’s the fact sheet.
